It’s been a couple of months since we wrote one of these since we’ve been busy working on getting @nclgallery back online, but things can’t stand still forever. So we here we go… OFFGRID: Get to know those we post on our grid, off the grid, in 20 questions or less. Next in line is London-based content creator Derik.
Relatively new to the streetwear Instagram scene, Derik has been gaining a great deal of traction recently for his consistently shot, minimal and oversized fits.

I am an introvert, I like to think about myself that I am creative and I love music
When did you decide to start taking Instagram “seriously”
Started from the covid19 situation, didn’t had a job so I just tried to show my creativity through my outfits.
Has becoming an “influencer” significantly changed the way you live?
Not at all, I don’t consider myself an influencer, just a creative guy who likes dressing up.
When are you most inspired? Early in the mornings or late at night
Early in the mornings haha , waking up at 5 everyday

Both of them, but coffee it’s my favourite
What is your favourite movie?
Hard to say, but I would choose The Devil Wears Prada
When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A singer, my biggest dream
Would you ever live anywhere beside London?
Yes, definitely, I am planning to move to Tokyo in 2 years
You’re going out for food, where do you eat and what are you eating?
Usually Chinese or Korean food

Hm, it’s @junrsh he is extremely good and inspiring
Name a fashion trend you would like to see disappear forever?
Super skinny jeans, used to wear them when I was 15 but now I realised they’re not a fashion piece, if it’s skinny it’s ok, but super skinny nah
What’s your typical routine for a weekend?
Coffee, doing administrative things and relaxing/going out

I would say Heliot Emil

Dior B23 sneakers

Yay, a lot of rings and chunky necklaces
Would you rather…Would you rather have more time or more money?
I would rather have both, honestly, time is money and for money we lose a lot of time so yeah, give me both haha
