AIMÉ LEON DORE DROPS ITS FALL / WINTER ’20 COLLECTION - THE WORLD’S BOROUGH

Aimé Leon Dore unveiled its full Autumn/Winter 2020 collection last week in its latest impeccably-styled lookbook. Drawing largely on founder Teddy Santis’ nostalgic memories of growing up in Queens, the latest offering from the label continues to expand their fresh yet timeless design. Dubbed "The World's Borough" the campaign stars the Aimé Leon Dore basketball team, rapper Jadakiss, Tony Greco and Sweet Chick’s John Seymour plus many more in an assortment of a signature high-low blend of urban and tailored essentials.

With a focus on premium textures and fabrics sourced from around the world, the AW20 collection features eye-catching outerwear, fleeces and knitwear. Stand-out pieces in the collection include collegiate inspired sweatshirts, a patchwork knit vest and a selection of carpenter and core pants in colours such as purple, khaki and burnt red. Capsule pieces have been imagined to include a ‘70s inspired motif, abstract imagery and a Unisphere graphic, while the brand’s name appears on crewnecks, fishermen beanies and even on a dinner plate.

Aimé Leon Dore also offers up an array of quilted vests, over shirts and matching monochrome jacket and trouser. Playful and vibrant colours hues of magenta, blue and green are included in the labels section of Athleisure which pays homage to its streetwear roots.

The AW20 collection is complemented by a range of basic winter wear that incorporates various takes on its moniker, from a vintage striped oxford shirt to ready to wear basics, as a well as a selection of hats ranging from buckets to caps and an assortment of scarfs, zippo lighters and a tote bag. Take a look at the campaign imagery below:
