Duke + Dexter went on an expedition through the bazaars of the old town Marrakech to the dunes of the Agafay Desert in Mocorro for their Spring Summer 2023 campaign.
Getting away from the hustle-bustle of London and searching for some motivation was their 'main mantra'. As they say, getting lost in the right direction was the same for the brand – finding a home away from home.

Answering a call to find motivation from the artistry of the place was indeed meaningful for the brand as they named their collection - "CLUB MOROCCO" - Spring/Summer 2023.
Diving right into their SS23 collection, we can see penny loafers with 'yellow citrus fruit' and 'olive branch' bringing the essence from the Mediterranean to the city.
Their limited edition pieces portray a serpent design across the vamp.
Beyond their impeccable designs, the collection also holds a sentimental value of the place as their penny loafer ‘Wilde Berber' - the design was based on the traditional Berber rug patterns
Wilde Rattan Penny Loafer from their collection accentuates a crocheted texture with a silk and wool blend.
Their Wilde Ezra Penny Loafer has to be the 'avant-garde' piece as it embodies the design from Moroccan Zellige tiles. A mosaic style detail shows a geometric-cut terracotta, kiln-fired over olive branches to form a unique pattern.
From Duke + Dexter's best-selling style, the brand revamped their Ritchie Sneaker with an updated bamboo fibre eco-lining and clad each pair in palettes inspired by Morocco's terrains.
With diverse designs and patterns, the brand has also brought 'Commando Boat Shoe' into existence, replacing the traditionally flat soles with deep-lugged rubber Commando soles. Unlike any other boat shoe, here's one for you to enjoy on the open seas.
