Jerry Lorenzo showcases Fear of God's Highly Anticipated lookbook for 'The Seventh Collection’

Dubbed “The Seventh Collection,” Lorenzo’s newest release offers a new direction away from casual-luxury essentials to introduce a reinterpreted selection of streetwear featuring suiting, knits, and accessories, all appearing for the first time.

The labels latest offerings come after Lorenzo’s recent collaboration with Ermenegildo Zegna and see a reimagining of classical tailoring to provide a discreet luxury aesthetic. An assortment of vintage hand-washes and distressed denim dominates the labels latest collection, complete with Lorenzo’s signature touch for an authentically lived-in look and feel.

Making its debut in The Seventh Collection is the Fear of God Italian hand-knit collection. Classic bombers and essential everyday jackets are featured in a neutral, tonal inspired palette. Whilst ethically sourced fabrics provide a fresh approach to an assortment of outerwear that uses canvas, suede and technical Japanese nylons that appeal to the young creative.

A military inspired “FG” logo pays homage to both the designer’s sports heritage and favourite pastime, baseball. Notably, Lorenzo’;s grandfather, Lorenzo Manuel, played in the Atlanta Black Crackers pitcher. Also, his father, Jerry Manuel, played in the Major Leagues and also managed both the White Sox and the Mets. Presented in a stylised graphic the collegiate inspired designs are stencilled across an array of sun-faded wash sweats and performance-oriented sportswear.

Developing the brands assortment of sneakers and boots, The Seventh Collection makes the debut of the espadrille, the loafer, and the mule: made in Italy and crafted from hand-stitched suede, Nappa leather, pony hair, and French nubuck.
